Service Team Specialist

Team Overview: To serve and positively impact our homeowners in whatever capacity necessary to ensure a positive experience after closing.

 

Job Summary: To perform necessary detail work in all Schuber Mitchell homes during the 2 year warranty period to build exceptional customer relationships with homeowners.

 

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Deliver Schuber Mitchell Homes quality and value.

  • Build relationships daily with homeowners, trade partners, and vendors.

  • Communicate warranty guidelines with homeowners.

  • Perform necessary work in homes to complete service tickets (replacing tile, fixing ceiling fans, repairing drywall, etc.)

  • Attend warranty service calls as needed, especially those requiring trade partners.

  • Communicate daily with your team.

  • Inspect all work for quality and completion.

  • Schedule the delivery of necessary supplies to complete warranty projects, caulk, paint, sod, electrical, etc.

  • Develop an organizational system for yourself that allows you to be as efficient and responsive as possible.

  • Finalize all warranty work orders, reactive and pro-active.

  • 30-day and 11-month appointments, scheduling work orders, confirming appointments, scanning and uploading documents.

  • Maintain communication with trade partners that work orders have been completed to finalize them in the system.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements: 

  • Work outside in uncontrolled conditions.

  • Vision for near, mid-range, far and accommodation. Hearing for low, medium, and high pitch.

  • Effective communication skills when dealing with co-workers, trade partners, and homeowners.

  • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist.

  • Ability to handle strenuous activity from floor repair to ceiling repair.

  • Ability to navigate hazardous conditions.

  • Must be able to perform all job expectations safely with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.

Hours and Schedule: 

  • 45-50 hours per week 7:30am-5pm M-F/

  • After hours and weekends are necessary every 3rd week as the Service Team Member on emergency call.

  • Pay depending on qualifications and experience.
