Experience Specialist

  • Job Summary: Serve as the face of the company and the point of contact during construction, seeking to genuinely develop and preserve relationships that convert customers into Schuber Mitchell Homes homebuyers. Be part of a team dedicated to serving Schuber Mitchell Homes’ home buyers and their needs.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Follow and embrace fundamental sales and construction process that encourage repeat buyers and customer referrals while building Schuber Mitchell Homes’ brand reputation
    • Conduct daily follow-up calls and emails with homebuyers
    • Professionally answer emails and phone calls and respond to all communication in a timely manner
    • Professionally demonstrate Framing Dedications, New Home Orientations, Pre-construction Meetings, homesites, and communities to current homebuyers
    • Serve as an advocate for the homeowner throughout the construction process and communicate all homeowner concerns to Schuber Mitchell Builder Team
    • Manage experience events – coordinate and facilitate all homeowner experience events
    • Coordinate with the entire construction team and assure that every home is ready for the experience event you are planning to facilitate i.e. frame tour and orientation
    • Manage calendar of events – assure that dates are accurate, project upcoming dates and schedule events with homeowners
    • Schedule and direct trade partners, as needed
    • Practice empathy with your team member(s), and homebuyers in ways that enhance customer service/satisfaction and support their individual missions
    • Develop a general “all around” knowledge of the building process to answer construction related questions with homeowners
    • Initiate timely and professional communication with all buyers in construction schedule

    • High emotional intelligence: displays social and self-awareness in order to adjust sales approach with variety of homebuyers and has the ability to self-manage

    • Energy: action-oriented and consistently exhibits positive energy
    • Team player: ability to work in a team environment, open to other’s ideas and willing to cooperate
    • Strong communication skills: ability to communicative both verbally and written in a professional and persuasive manner.

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

    • Works outside in uncontrolled conditions. Position will be subjected to extreme weather and driving conditions (rain, snow, high winds, and sand storms)
    • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, rock, etc.), reaching above head and below waist
    • Ability to navigate hazardous conditions such as frequent moving vehicles, construction equipment, and various construction materials
    • Must be able to perform all job expectations safely with or without reasonable accommodations
    • Ability to lift 30 – 50 pounds

     

    Hours and Schedule:

    • Typical work week 50-55 hours.
    • Travel will be required.
    • Meetings and events are occasionally required outside the typical work day.
