Sales Team Purpose Statement

Develop and preserve relationships with current and future homebuyers that generate new Schuber Mitchell homeowners. To be intentional and excellent while adding value to the homebuyers’ experience. 

New Home Consultant Purpose Statement

Serve as the face of the company, seeking to develop and preserve relationships that generate raving fans of Schuber Mitchell. Build a team dedicated to serving Schuber Mitchell Homes’ customers and uncovering their home buying needs.

Essential Job Function

  • Handling Deposit checks

  • Serve as support for regional marketing events included Open House as needed

  • Make sure Model Home is “WOW” ready for the day (Snacks stocked, Drinks cold, floors and porches swept)

  • Adding new leads to lasso and assigning follow up rhythm

  • Available home strategizing

  • Color Selection meetings

  • Prepare and deliver contract documents

  • Ensure Design Studio samples are correct and look nice

  • Lead follow up – Special Circumstances as directed by Sales Manager (NHS Vacation/Sick, NHA Vacation/Sick, as needed)

  • Setting appointments

  • Seasonalize Model Homes

Qualifications

  • Team Player

  • Proficient in the use of Windows and Macintosh operating system.

  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to learn new software and apply it accordingly.

  • Relational: in order to be successful, you must be able to communicate effectively and build trust.

  • Self-Starter: ambitious, motivation is key.

  • Inquisitive: always ask questions, you must discover the needs of those you want to serve.

  • Superior organizational skills and time management skills.

  • Detailed: always ensure accuracy of information.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Works in temperature-controlled environment.
  • Vision for near, mid-range, far and accommodation. Hearing for low, medium, and high pitch.
  • Effective communication skills when dealing with co-workers, trade partners, and visitors.
  • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist.
  • Ability to lift 5-10 pounds.

Hours & Salary Range

  • 40 to 50 hours per week (9am-6pm)
  • After hours and weekends may be necessary on occasion for trips or to meet deadlines
  • Position is not exempt from overtime
